June 24 is the day of celebration of the Cathedral of Odessa Saints. The saints who suffered for the faith are glorified in heaven and in the world. But the names and deeds of many of them are unknown to people. For example, in the 20s of the twentieth century, churches were wiped off the face of the earth in our city, and the saints of the Lord were destroyed. And now, on the day of the Council, in every church of the Odessa diocese, in prayers, the priests remember “all the saints who have shone forth on our land,” both already revered and unknown.
