Here Christ talked with the disciples about the last destinies of the world and the Second Coming before his arrest, from the mountainside he performed the Prayer for the Cup. On this mountain, Jesus delivers a sermon of Olives (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21). Mount of Olives - the place of the ascension of Jesus Christ (Acts 1).
