Claudia of Ankyra (Corinth) was a Christian saint who lived in Ankyra (modern Turkey) in the 3rd century. From her youth, the girl was distinguished by a deep love for God, spending all her time in deeds of mercy, fasting and prayer. During the persecution of Christians by the emperor Diocletian (284-305), the ruler Theotechnos was appointed to the city of Ancyra, who cruelly dealt with believers in Christ. Saint Claudia was seized by the pagans and brought to trial before Theotechnos
