Gaiania, or Gayania, or Gayane (grabar Գայիանէ, ancient Greek Γαϊανὴ; d. 301 or 304) - abbess of the monastery, early Christian Armenian martyr and saint; one of 35 virgins who suffered during the persecution of the Armenian king Tiridates. Memorial Day in the Orthodox Church - September 30 (October 13).
