Nikodim Tismansky is an Orthodox scribe-monk and translator, founder of monasteries, one in Serbia and two in Romania. In the history of the Serbian Middle Ages he is remembered for the transmission of hesychastic monastic traditions and for his participation in the diplomatic and ecclesiastical mission in Constantinople in 1375
