Little is known about him. He was born in the 18th century. Where he spent his childhood and adolescence, we do not know. History has preserved for us scant information that somewhere at the end of the 18th century, Daniel settled in the old Peter and Paul cemetery in a dugout, which he dug for himself not far from the wooden Peter and Paul Church. He was thin, tall, wore a black cassock, over which he wore a large metal cross on a large chain. On the banks of the Bianca River, Daniel planted an orchard, the fruits of which and alms from people he ate. Of what was donated to him, Elder Daniel left almost nothing for himself, and distributed everything to the poor.
