Prince Vladimir Aleksandrovich Cherkassky (1824, Chernsky district, Tula province - 1878, Yeshilkoy) - Russian public figure of Slavophil and Pan-Slavic convictions, an active participant in the peasant reform, Moscow mayor (1869-1871). During the Russian-Turkish war, he was in charge of the civilian unit in Bulgaria.
