Archpriest Vladimir Pasternatsky came from hereditary nobles who passed into the clergy. Born in the village of Dudichi, Minsk province in 1885. His family was large and very friendly. When the authorities began persecuting the Orthodox Church, the older children helped him pay taxes. The NKVD more than once threatened with reprisal Father Vladimir, who served in the Savior-Ascension Church in the city of Kopyl.
