The icon of Jesus Christ "Bread of Life" at the end of the 19th century became famous for its numerous healings in the village of Malaya Chernetchina, Sumy district, Kharkov province. In 1904, the Holy Synod instituted an annual religious procession in honor of this icon, which always attracted many pilgrims. During the years of persecution of faith, the image was lost, and subsequent searches remained unsuccessful for a long time.
