The Covering Icon of the Mother of God was a cell image of the schema-nun Tamar (Tamara Alexandrovna Mardzhanova, 1868 - 1936), the founder of the Serafimo-Znamensky Skete on the southern outskirts of Moscow, in the village of Bityagovo, Domodedovsky District.
