Saint Veronica is a Christian saint of the 1st century. In the Catholic tradition, Veronica is a woman who, according to medieval tradition, wiped the face of Jesus Christ with her wardrobe during the Way of the Cross to Calvary. In Orthodoxy, a woman is revered under the name Veronica, who, according to the Gospel, was healed by touching the clothes of Jesus Christ
