The Icon of the Mother of God "House-Builder", also Economissa (from the Greek. Celebration 5 (18) July. According to legend, during the construction of the lavra by St. Athanasius in the 10th century, many monks flocked to him, whom he received and with whom he worked together in obedience. Once a crop failure and famine occurred in the Lavra, and the brothers of St. Athanasius, unable to bear the hunger, dispersed one by one, so that only the hungry St. Athanasius remained in it.
